Lemon & Basil Salt Scrub

Updated: Jul 24, 2020

Today I was making some beautiful scrubs for next craft market @ Mornington Racecourse. It was really hot today, so my inspiration came up like "oh oh low battery". So I decided to have a look around over the blogosphere and get some inspiration but ...nothing happened. To be honest, I had to turn on the air conditioning to be able to think, and then, with this little help I could start making some potions. Magic spells came out and two wonderful scrubs were made in a twinkling of an eye [ I mean in mind, physically made them took a while]

Thus I though it would be a good idea to share with all of you an easy&quick DIY recipe of a salt scrub. What you will need:

  • · 8 tbsp of Epsom salts or raw salt (not refined)

  • · 4 tbsp of basil infused olive oil

  • · 1 tbsp of Lemon juice

  • · container

First put the sugar in the bowl, pour the oil and mix well. Add the lemon juice and mix everything until well combined. You can also add very finely chop dried basil leaves. And...All done!

Basil was widely used in ancient times in place like India for various medicinal purposes (Ayurvedic medicine). The herb was used to treat certain skin diseases.

It enhances the luster of dull-looking skin and hair. As a result, it is extensively used in many skin care supplements that claim to improve the tone of your skin. It is also commonly used to treat the symptoms of acne and other skin infections. Basil oil is good for treating a variety of infections such as cuts, wounds, skin infections, and bladder infections due to its antibacterial properties. It is also good for viral infections that attack the body and can enter the body through other wounds.

I can't send you a ticket to Hawai but I can send you something to pamper yourself. Come and discover our luscious salt scrubs by clicking here.

Be nourished with natural potions!
