According to the ancient procedure used for making alchemic tinctures (or spagyric), the flowers of the plant are harvested at a special time on a specific day in order to obtain the greatest benefits from its natural properties. The petals and leaves are macerated under the sun and the moon for more than one moon cycle. Spagyric, or alchemic tincture, refers to a plant tincture to which the ash of the burned plant has also been added. The original foundation behind these special herbal tinctures has been that by adding the ash they are alleged to have superior medicinal properties due the formation of soap-like compounds from the essential oils and the basic salts contained within the ash. The final spagyric should be a re-blending of all such extracts into one "essence".

The key is to spray onto the "pulse points." These include, but are not limited to, knees, elbows, collarbone, wrists and neck. These places are where the perfume will be most effective. Apply the perfume before you put your clothes on because the molecules also need to interact directly with your skin.
